Puupuisto Industrial Park in Tervola is a forest-industry site in northern Finland that hosts established wood-processing companies including Veljekset Vaara Oy and Vaaran Palkki Oy, producing sawn timber and further-processed wood products for domestic and export markets. The park offers ready land and facilities for industrial use, with a long tradition in mechanical wood industry and potential for expanded operations.
The municipality of Tervola is developing Puupuisto to attract new businesses and invest in sustainable, clean-transition projects. A current masterplan effort for the roughly 100-hectare area aims to support circular economy, renewable energy, and green investment opportunities, with scope for growth beyond existing uses.
